Chad Jordan, PTA is a board certified Physical Therapist Assistant and one of the founding members of Collective Therapy. His undergraduate degree is from North Carolina State University in Business Management. Chad returned to school in 2009 and received a Physical Therapist Assistant Associate’s Degree from Central Piedmont Community College.
Chad worked as a salesman for a Japanese automation company as his first career. His duties included designing and specifying components for machinery in all industries including textiles, automotive, and woodworking manufacturers in North and South Carolina. Although he was successful in this endeavor, he did not find the fulfillment he was looking for and made the decision to return to college in 2009.
After graduating with his second degree, Chad’s was employed at Carolinas Medical Center (now Atrium) rehabilitating critically ill patients and restoring their function. Over time he found that his true passion was working with patients in stroke rehabilitation and balance/fall prevention.
Chad’s first career in sales strengthened his skill set in customer service and communications. He was a finalist for the 2015 Pinnacle Award along with numerous other customer service awards. Chad has developed an ability to communicate with all patients regarding their medical diagnoses, plans of care, and expectations throughout the therapy process.
With his change in career, Chad became passionate about overall fitness and health. He is an avid runner and participates in yoga in all forms. He is a lifelong citizen of the Charlotte area and is married with 2 college age children.
